From within the fog, something moved!

A thick white fog descended around her, making it impossible to see anything, including the hotel, and doubling the deafening silence of the night. Jessie couldn’t move, she was too afraid of what lay within it.
Something caught her attention. From within the fog, something moved. The cloud shifted, swirling away and a huge black wolf turned back to her, its unwavering, piercing yellow eyes watching her.
